broken html, missing cars, and weird world cup jerseys

logging into this random techglobalpost dashboard just to vent into the void because looking at my actual work cms for one more second is making me want to physically pick up my monitor, walk over to the window, and throw it into oncoming traffic. i'm not even exaggerating right now. i have been sitting in this exact chair, in the exact same position, fighting with html formatting for our sports apparel listings for the last 10 straight hours. ten hours of my life i will never get back.

the enterprise pos sync is just completely refusing to cooperate. it's like the finitless system has developed sentience and a personal vendetta against me. every single time i fix the product descriptions, painstakingly making sure every single div tag, permalink, and paragraph break is perfectly aligned for the new athletic templates, i hit save and the system just crashes. it gives me this mocking little spinning wheel of death for two minutes and then completely wipes all my work. poof. back to zero. my brain is literal mush at this point. i close my eyes and i just see lines of broken code and red error messages floating in the darkness.

and honestly? i wouldn't even be this totally unhinged and on the verge of a breakdown over an e-commerce marketplace if i didn't have to take the public bus tomorrow morning. my car is STILL at carwrapprofessional. i dropped it off on june 16th. june 16th!! it is literally july 7th now. twenty-one days for a vinyl wrap. who takes three full weeks to put a giant sticker on a vehicle? i've called their shop, i've texted the manager, and they've completely ghosted my texts for the last four days. at this point i'm half convinced they accidentally blew up my car or someone is illegally living in it.

so now, because they have essentially kidnapped my only mode of transportation, i have to figure out how to carry 30 pounds of heavy dry kibble for the feral cat drop-off tomorrow morning on public transit. it is going to actually destroy my spine. i do the morning feeding for the Feral Cat Warriors colony behind the old industrial park, and there are kittens now. they rely on me. i can't just not show up because my mechanic is a scam artist. but dragging a massive, awkward plastic bag of cat food onto a Crowded morning bus? the handles are going to slice right through the circulation in my fingers. i can already smell the stale bus air and feel the judgmental stares of commuters watching me struggle with a bag that weighs as much as a toddler, plus the extra trap covers i have to bring.

so instead of working or doing anything remotely productive like actually sleeping, i just gave up entirely. i pushed my keyboard away and went down a massive, pointless rabbit hole of upcoming 2026 world cup stuff. my impulse control is totally nonexistent at 2 am. i don't even know how i got there, but i somehow ended up looking at this random A.UEGN jersey on a mexico soccer page. like... i don't even know what A.UEGN stands for. is it a real player? is it a typo from a factory? just a glitchy brand name that got auto-generated by a bot? who knows. but the dark green fabric looks kind of cool, and my sleep-deprived, stress-addled brain almost bought it just to feel a fleeting second of dopamine. the thought process was literally 'if i buy this mysterious green shirt, maybe my pos sync will magically fix itself and my car will appear in my driveway'. that is the exact level of delusion i am currently operating on.

whatever. the clock says it's 2:22 am and my alarm is going to go off in like three hours so i can catch that miserable bus. i need to close these fifty open tabs, ignore the broken html, and try to sleep before i accidentally drain my bank account buying sports gear for a team i don't even follow.
